Camping Fun

I am so thankful for a baby that's up for anything. This weekend as we were camping she pretty much just needed a second to look around the camp site, then she basically was like, "Ok, so this is where we're spending the weekend, I'm okay with that and I'm gonna have fun."

I was so happy to have my parents with us because a) it was nice to have extra help with Ry since I couldn't really just put her on the ground to play when I needed to get stuff done, b) it's nice that they could share in Ryleigh's first camping experience, since they've missed out on a few other "firsts".

We enjoyed swimming, cooking out, making smores, and fishing. And get this, I had to teach my dad how to fish. haha. He's never been fishing with a real pole, he used to just stick string on a stick when he was a kid. I never thought I'd even learn how to fish and now I'm so good I can teach it! (except none of us actually caught anything because the lake wasn't very well stocked).

My Ry's <3

Hanging out in her pack& play
My dad "fishing"... one of the first things he caught was the grass on the side of the lake, so he was trying to figure out how to get his hook out

My mom, happy to have finally gotten their air mattress blown up!

Pigtails: the aftermath

Yesterday I put Ryleigh's hair in cute little pigtails with bows.
(Yes she was wearing her 4th of July outfit, but I couldn't have her wear such a cute outfit only once... so she was just very patriotic yesterday!)

Now view the aftermath of such cute little pig tails.

Hehe. My daughter looks like a crazy person :-)

You can't google everything

You can google your name, you can google your house and see a satellite picture of it, you can pretty much google anything.... except for God's plans for your life. I really wish you could though. :-(
Or maybe put it into your GPS. Then you'd have a nice British lady (or at least my GPS is a british lady cause I like the accent), telling you, turn right then turn left and arrive at destination "complete fulfillment".

Nope that would be too easy... instead you have to stress about things, and pray about them, and hope that you've made the right choices. Ahh, I hate making decisions!

warning: gross story up ahead

I park my car under a tree so that it's in the shade. Today I walked out to find birds had pooped all over my car :-( I put Ryleigh in her car seat, and closed the door.... only, I forgot there was bird poop all over the door... fresh bird poop.... guess where I put my hand when I went to shut the door.

And that is my gross story of the day.

Thank you God

As a result of paying our rent for the month of August when we signed our lease a few months ago, we didn't have to pay rent this month. It was nice to have some extra money in the bank!
And now we have a good thing to use it on. A new alternator for Ryan's car! Haha. It's not exactly what I would have wanted to spend it on, but I am so glad we actually have extra money when we need it.

We have the extra money because we didn't move into the farmhouse in Cherry Hill. I'm still very disappointed about that, and I wish we were living in a house, but, I guess God knew what He was doing.

Thank you to all the people who were willing to give us a ride last night!

Ryleigh vs. dinner

Last night Ryleigh absolutely would not eat her food, no matter what I did. Luckily I caught it on video for all to see. She's pretty darn cute, even when she's spitting out her food
