Laughs by Ryleigh

Ryleigh pretty much cracks me up every day. But, I thought I would share a couple of things she said yesterday that I found particularly funny.

Yesterday as we were getting ready to go to a Superbowl party Ryleigh said, "Go potty". So we asked, "you have to go potty?". She said, "No. Go potty". We asked again, and again she said, "No. Go potty".... it was then that the Rhode Islander in me came out and I realized what she said! RI-ers don't pronounce their R's. So when they say the word "potty", they're really saying "party". Ryleigh was saying she wanted to go to the party. hehe. I love that my little Jersey girl has a Rhode Island accent!

At the Superbowl potty Ryleigh enjoyed herself by eating tons of junk food, dancing to the Black Eyed Peas, and sitting on random people's laps. (She was allowed since it was all people from church, and church people = family). One thing she did not enjoy was slipping on the kitchen floor and busting her lip open.
I told Ryleigh her lip was all puffy. She said, "Yeah, it has all puff on it".
So I explained it doesn't have puff on it, but it is puffy. I told her to go tell Daddy so he could kiss it better. So, she went up to Ryan and showed him her "puppy" lip.

Haha.
I love that kid and her silly logic, and her silly accent...
